We wandered around Frome yesterday and found an exhibition by Robert Golden. He had a number of black and white photographs that were taken in the 1970s and 980s, on a range of subjects based around industry and trades unions.
I bought a couple of books, one of the exhibition and one on still life.

These are pictures of people, and talking of which, I had a look at the background to the Migrant Mother photograph by Lange. Her grandson has an interesting site which explains some of the background. Photography and people is really a minefield.
